We are very pleased to be offering the Kumon Study Programmes as part of Grange Primary School’s extracurricular activities from September 2024.

The Kumon Club offers Kumon’s Maths and English Programmes which aim to bring out the best in every child, to help them to reach their potential and foster a love of learning, without limiting them based on their age or ability. Through individualised work set at just the right level, your child will be able to build strong learning foundations, developing ability in maths and English but also transferable skills that will help them achieve across all their subjects. They’ll progress at their own pace, so they’ll have time to master a topic or, accelerate their learning to advanced work in small, manageable steps.
  
Students study Kumon on paper or in digital format on their tablets through our KUMON CONNECT application. Each child learns through examples in our worksheets combined with Instructor guidance and encouragement. Students attend Kumon Club one day per week but have worksheets to complete independently every day at home. For students studying on KUMON CONNECT the work is marked and returned for them to make their corrections and for paper students, parents mark work at home. The Instructor communicates with students via a message function via table or at the club ensuring that each child feels motivated, supported and builds self-confidence around their own study.  

The Instructor will initially assess your child to determine at what point in the programme they should begin their Kumon study and will communicate their appropriate starting point and the study plan to you during the enrolment session.
