About this centre
The West Drayton Study Centre was established in 2009.
The unique Kumon maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study. At the centre, we work towards growing these attributes in the students.
Kumon is for all ages but currently there are children at the study centre between the ages of four to 13 years old.
There are seven friendly members of staff to look over the children to make sure that they are reaching their potential and to monitor their performance in self-learning skills. They help and support student development by sitting with each student and going through the worksheets.
Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own independent learning strategies.
